In today’s first lesson, I have continued editing my footage.
Nick yesterday mentioned that I should make it snappy and just have sharp cuts from one model to the other, Christina and Elliott agreed with this so I continued editing this way, however when I showed my footage(Rough Cut) back to Steve, he said to edit it in a completely different way- as a continuous loop. For this, he said that it should just be one, all the way through, then the next, but in a loop, so they would dissolve in to each other, then continue on.
I’m not too sure about this idea though, since the project’s deadline is tomorrow, I may just continue with the way I have done it so far.
Nick’s feedback for my rough cut is that instead of such snappy cuts, it should be a fade, I tried this out and disagreed with this, I don’t think it works as well with the effects used, and I’m not too fond of fading.
Later on I plan to make the colours a lot more vibrant and florescent.
